Job Description

As the Lead Design Verification Engineer at Ventana Micro Systems in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in the forefront of the semiconductor industry's revolution, focusing on RISC-V and Chiplet Architecture. Ventana is well-funded and backed by strategic investors, aiming to develop best-in-class CPU cores for cloud, enterprise, 5G, and Edge computing. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the verification efforts of complex IP subsystems based on the open-source RISC-V architecture. You will utilize your deep technical expertise and exceptional leadership skills to drive end-to-end verification, collaborating closely with architecture and design teams. Your tasks will include developing verification infrastructure components, executing comprehensive verification plans, implementing functional coverage models, and debugging designs across various platforms. In this role, you will continuously strive to enhance methodology efficiency and mentor junior engineers to build a high-performing team. The minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical, computer engineering, or related field, with BS+8 years or MS+6 years of industry experience in delivering complex IP subsystems successfully. To excel in this role, you must possess skills such as SystemVerilog verification development, testbench construction using UVM or similar methodologies, expertise in scoreboards and stimulus generators for complex units, and a strong background in industry standards and protocols like PCIe, Ethernet, CXL, and AMBA AXI. You should demonstrate unit or feature ownership throughout project lifecycles, outstanding team leadership experience, effective communication skills, self-motivation, strong execution mindset, and a collaborative approach. Post-silicon debug experience is preferred.
