Job Description

Job Summary: The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and negotiating offers. This role plays a crucial part in attracting and selecting top talent to meet the organisation’s staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Talent Acquisition:

  • Utilise various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify and attract qualified candidates. Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for current and future opportunities.

Screening and Assessment:

  • Review resumes and applications to shortlist candidates based on job requirements. Conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.

Interview Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques.

Candidate Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Communicate proactively with candidates to keep them informed about the status of their application.

Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and preferences. Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and collaborate on candidate selection.

Offer Negotiation and Onboarding:

  • Facilitate the negotiation of job offers between candidates and hiring managers. Coordinate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ERP). Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics and activities.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
  • Support employee development initiatives to enhance skills and competence

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team.
