Job Title: Zonal Sales Manager Yale Retail (ROM & Goa) Division/Company: ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. Location: Pune Department: Yale Retail Reporting To: Regional Manager West Position Summary: Role & Responsibilities: Deliver revenue targets for the Yale Retail business across the assigned zone. Review and enhance the performance of the current distribution network; ensure strong growth momentum. Identify and onboard new channel partners aligned with company guidelines to improve market coverage. Lead demand generation initiatives for all product categories through structured activations and strategic product placements. Drive distributor secondary sales, monitor stock levels, and ensure consistent pricing in the market. Design and implement trade promotional schemes; track and assess scheme effectiveness. Build strong relationships with key influencers including carpenters, contractors, architects, and builders; conduct regular product training and engagement activities. Maintain vigilance on competitor activities and market trends; provide timely intelligence to guide strategy. Key Skills & Competencies In-depth knowledge of the retail landscape within the building materials industry, preferably residential hardware. Strong network with architects, interior designers, influencers, and trade professionals. High ownership, ethical conduct, and time management skills. Effective verbal and written communication abilities. Proactive, energetic, and result-driven approach with a strong execution focus. Persistent in following up and closing key actions with internal and external stakeholders. Strong relationship-building skills and customer engagement capabilities. Passion for products with the ability to confidently demonstrate and present them to customers. Qualification & Experience: MBA or Postgraduate degree in Sales & Marketing. 58 years of relevant experience in the building material industry Hardware, Tiles, Sanitaryware, Paints, Modular Kitchens, Electrical, Doors & Windows, Plywood, Laminates, or Glass. Proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
