As a Demand Planning Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Central demand planner to ensure timely and smooth execution of demand planning processes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining demand planning masters, working closely with sales to facilitate the S&OP process, and collaborating with internal stakeholders such as IT, sales, and finance to ensure the efficient functioning of the demand planning process. One of the key aspects of your role will involve spending time in the market to gain insights into demand planning and sales trends. By understanding the reasons for MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) and Bias, you will contribute significantly to improving forecasting accuracy. This position is designed as an individual contributor role, with a direct reporting line to the Demand Planning manager. Your responsibilities will encompass supervising and ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MAPE, Forecast Value add, and Forecast accuracy are met. You should have experience in running the monthly S&OP cycle in collaboration with Sales and marketing teams. Proficiency in managing demand planning and forecasting systems, as well as the ability to generate and enhance monthly forecasts, will be essential for success in this role. Moreover, you will serve as the Central Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for demand planning system master data generation and maintenance. Your technical and administrative support will be critical in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the demand planning processes within the organization.,
