Job Description

BE+3Y/Diploma+5Y experience in Mechanical Workshop, PSV, Isolation valve activities   with Large Processing Units Like Refinery/ Petrochemicals/fertilizer/Steel plant etc.

• Plan , Execute and supervise all the job activites of mechanical workshop including Machine shop (lathe machine, Boring machine ,Drilling Machine, Shaper Machine, Balancing Machine), fabrication shop,  PSV testing and  isolation valve overhauling ,hydro test and gland filing.
• Ensure allocation of available resources of workshop to get the optimum utilization of resource.
• All the activities of reverse engineering required to manufacturing specific part required to make as per plant requirement. Responsible for the activities of drawing and sketch preparation.
• Plan, execute/supervise all the critical activities of PSV testing, isolation valve testing like gate valve, butterfly valve, check valve, globe valve and boll valve.
• Balancing of rotor and impellers.
• Overall responsibility of workshop machines heartiness.
• Material issue for PSV, isolation valve and Machine shop equipments.
• Planning and scheduling of workshop jobs.
• Maintaining the log book of incoming and outgoing PSV and isolation valves and workshop jobs.
• Making the daily work progress report for all related workshop, PSV and isolation valve jobs.
• Ensure the all jobs safe execution as per SOP/SJPs.
• Request work permit for workshop related jobs.
• Inspection and technically evaluation of PSV and isolation valve spares.
• Knowledge of statuary compliance for material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS word and SAP PM Module.
• Plan, Execute/supervise all the in-situ jobs like drilling, reaming , tapping and other jobs.
