Job Description
As the Workday Benefits consultant, you will typically focus on configuring and optimizing benefits module within Workday. This role is responsible for providing support to stakeholders across the Workday platform in various Workday modules. You will resolve Service NAB tickets for all Workday Benefits-related issues, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives ensuring all tickets are properly documented, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for employee/config data gathering, transformation, mapping, and cleansing, then performing and monitoring mass data loads using tools like EIB, ensuring data accuracy, error handling, and providing post-load validation and support. Your role will involve serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Benefits and providing training to benefit partners, managers, and other stakeholders on how to use the benefits module in Workday effectively. You will also be responsible for implementing testing efforts within P&C Systems ensuring smooth user acceptance testing (UAT) and Integrated testing. It will be important for you to stay up to date with Workday updates, releases, and industry best practices to enhance system capabilities. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior colleagues for their role in configuration and testing. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or related field or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5 to 7 years" Workday experience with expertise in Workday Benefits and any other areas such as HCM, compensation, benefits, recruiting, and absence is required. Workday Certified in Benefits is also a must. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot Workday technical issues are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with escalation and conflict resolution abilities, are also necessary. You should be able to work under general direction and must be able to work independently.,
