Key Responsibilities: Active Directory Administration: Administer and manage Active Directory services, including user accounts, groups, and organizational units. Implement, maintain, and optimize Active Directory schema and structures. User Account and Access Control: Create, modify, and disable user accounts based on organizational requirements. Manage and troubleshoot user access permissions, ensuring security and compliance. Group Policy Management: Design, implement, and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for security and configuration settings. Ensure GPOs align with organizational security policies and standards. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures to protect Active Directory from unauthorized access. Regularly assess and address security vulnerabilities, applying patches and updates. Active Directory Replication: Monitor and manage Active Directory replication to ensure data consistency across domain controllers. Troubleshoot and resolve replication issues promptly. Backup and Recovery: Design and implement backup and recovery strategies for Active Directory. Conduct regular backups, perform recovery tests, and ensure data integrity. Scripting and Automation: Develop and implement PowerShell scripts and automation solutions for Active Directory tasks. Streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of Active Directory configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Contribute to the development and upkeep of the knowledge base.
