Key Responsibilities 

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. 
• Optimize website performance, including page speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. 
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance website functionality. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bugs, errors, and compatibility issues. 
• Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement visually appealing and functional designs. 
• Ensure website security, including regular updates, backups, and implementation of security best practices. 
• Manage and maintain the WordPress hosting environment, including database management. 
• Deploy websites on hosting servers and manage server configurations. 
• Monitor website analytics and make data-driven decisions for improvements. 
• Perform regular version upgrades and ensure compatibility with the latest WordPress updates. 
• Optimize databases for performance and scalability. 
• Conducted site audits and implemented optimization strategies for improved performance and SEO. 
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies. 
• Good knowledge in MySQL DB and MariaDB. 

Technical Expertise Required 

• Proficient in WordPress core, themes, and plugin development. 
• Expertise in custom theme and plugin development. 
• Deep understanding of the WordPress REST API. 
• Strong skills in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. 
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js (preferred). 
• Proficiency in MySQL and MariaDB for database management and optimization. 
• Experience in website optimization for performance, including caching, image optimization, and code minification. 
• Familiarity with tools like GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed Insights, and Lighthouse. 
• Knowledge of on-page SEO best practices and tools like Yoast SEO or Rank Math. 
• Familiarity with WCAG and ADA accessibility standards for websites. 
• Proficient in version control systems like Git. 
• Experience with WordPress builders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery (optional). 
• Familiarity with website hosting platforms like AWS, WP Engine, or SiteGround. 
• Knowledge of WordPress security best practices, including regular updates, backups, and malware prevention. 
• Experience with security tools like Sucuri or Wordfence. 
• Familiarity with WooCommerce for e-commerce website development. 
• Experience with multi-language website development using tools like WPML or Polylang.
