Job Description
You should have 4-6 years of relevant experience in the MS SQL Database domain to be considered for the L2 level position based in Mumbai, Fort. This is an onsite role that requires you to provide 24x7 support for server operations. To qualify, you must hold a degree in B.E./Diploma/B.Sc./BCA/MCA without any educational gaps and from a reputable university. As a part of your responsibilities, you will be required to proactively monitor servers using BSE tools, track CPU & memory utilization, monitor Microsoft Windows resources, event logs, and critical services. You will be responsible for generating monthly reports on server availability, responding to and managing incidents until resolution, and engaging with customer support teams and vendors for incident resolution. Technical skills that are essential for this role include Hyper-V management, failover cluster configuration and management, IIS troubleshooting, security patching and hardening, OS migration, server performance troubleshooting, and more. You will also be involved in correlating related incidents into problem tickets, patching OS for security updates, managing VMs, reporting on VM performance status, managing Hyper-V clusters, access rights, and folders, as well as server inventory management.
