Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished music professional to join our esteemed music department as a Senior Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Western vocal techniques and music production courses. Responsibilities:* - Teach Western vocal techniques, including classical, musical theater, and contemporary styles - Develop and implement curriculum for Western vocal courses - Teach music production courses, including recording, editing, and mixing - Mentor and guide students in their vocal development, performance preparation, and music production projects - Conduct masterclasses, workshops, and recitals - Participate in departmental service and committee work - Collaborate with colleagues to promote the growth and development of the music program Requirements:* - Master's degree in Music (Vocal Performance or Music Production) or related field; DMA or Ph.D. preferred - Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the college level - Strong background in Western classical and/or contemporary vocal performance and music production - Excellent teaching and mentoring skills - Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in music production software and hardware (e.g., DAWs, plugins, recording equipment) Preferred Qualifications:* - Experience in teaching a wide range of vocal styles and genres - Familiarity with music technology and digital tools - Record of performances, recordings, and publications - Experience in curriculum development and assessment - Industry experience in music production and recording,
