Job Summary: The WordPress Website Designer will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality WordPress websites that meet clients" needs and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development and design best practices, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop custom WordPress websites that meet clients" needs and business objectives. Work with clients to understand their requirements and develop design concepts that align with their brand and messaging. Collaborate with developers to ensure that design concepts are feasible and can be implemented within WordPress. Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts to clients and internal stakeholders. Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet design and functionality requirements. Create and optimize website graphics, including logos, images, and icons. Conduct website testing and troubleshooting to ensure website functionality and compatibility with different devices and browsers. Stay up-to-date with WordPress development and design best practices and implement them in projects. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in web design, digital marketing, or a related field. 1+ years of experience designing and developing custom WordPress websites. Strong knowledge of WordPress development and design best practices. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with website design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD. Excellent communication and project management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with website optimization and SEO best practices. Familiarity with website hosting and server management. Knowledge of website security best practices. Experience with e-commerce website design and development. Familiarity with website accessibility standards and guidelines.
