Job Description
A Warehouse Auditor ensures accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations by conducting audits, verifying inventory, and identifying discrepancies between physical and digital records. They also monitor compliance with safety regulations and recommend improvements. Responsibilities: Conduct regular audits: This includes physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliationsto verify accuracy and integrity of inventory. Identify and report discrepancies: Locate and document any differences between physical stock and recorded inventory, and report them to relevant personnel. Analyze audit findings: Review audit data to identify trends, root causes of discrepancies, and areas forimprovement.Document audit findings, including recommendations for corrective action and process improvement.Observe and evaluate warehouse operations, including storage conditions, handlingpractices, and labelling, to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.Verify that the warehouse adheres to safety protocols, including proper handling of materials, storage conditions, and use of safety equipment.Work with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate inventory procedures and to implement corrective actions.Assess existing inventory control systems and propose improvements to enhanceefficiency and reduce discrepancies.Maintain knowledge of best practices and changes in warehouse operations and regulations.Skills and Qualifications: Prepare detailed reports: Monitor warehouse processes: Ensure compliance with safety regulations: Collaborate with warehouse staff: Evaluate and recommend improvements: Stay updated on industry trends and regulations: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
