Job Title: VP - Insurance Location: Mumbai What you will do: We are looking for an experienced insurance professional to lead and grow our digital insurance vertical. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end strategy and execution of our insurance offerings, including P&L ownership, product development, operations, digital journey, and insurer relationship management. This is a high-impact role requiring strong domain knowledge, execution excellence, and cross-functional collaboration with tech, product, marketing, and customer service teams. Key Responsibilities: Business Strategy & P&L Ownership Define and execute the growth strategy for digital insurance. Own the P&L, ensuring achievement of business targets. Analyze business performance metrics and identify areas of growth or improvement. Product & Digital Customer Journey Collaborate with internal product and tech teams to create best-in-class digital insurance journeys. Lead initiatives to improve funnel conversion, upsell/cross-sell, and customer retention. Identify opportunities to simplify product offerings and improve customer experience. Operations & Process Excellence Oversee day-to-day operations across onboarding, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and claims coordination. Drive process automation and operational efficiency using tech-led solutions. Ensure robust SLAs, TATs, and customer satisfaction. Insurer & Internal Stakeholder Management Manage relationships with insurance companies to enable new products, pricing negotiations, co-branded campaigns, and tech integration. Work closely with marketing, analytics, legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of insurance operations. Analytics & Reporting Track key KPIs across product performance, claims, NPS, revenue, and profitability. Use customer and performance data to optimize pricing, product mix, and journey design. Who you are: 1015 years of experience in insurance, ideally across product, operations, and digital distribution. Strong understanding of regulatory landscape, compliance norms, and insurance ops. Experience in digital platforms / fintech / InsurTech is preferred. Proven track record of owning P&L and scaling insurance business digitally.
