Job Description

This is a contratual role for 1 year (can be renewed). 
Location- Kolkata (WFO)
Skills needed- OEM, VMWare Certified professional, troubleshooting VMWare, Server, Firmware, SAN, Hypervisor & OS, SLA, DNS, DHCP, Routers, Switchers.
Budget- upto 6 LPA
Experience- 2-4 Years
Relevant experience- 2 years is needed
Notice period- Immediate-15 days
Education Qualification- BE/BTECH/MCA

Qualification of onsite support:  
- Minimum Qualification: BE/BTECH/MCA  
- The engineer should be VMware Certified Professional - Data Centre Virtualization  
- The onsite engineer should be on payroll of the successful bidder for last one year (at the time of bid submission)  
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in managing and troubleshooting VMware based virtualized environment 
 
The details of work to be performed is as given below:  
- Maintenance, Monitoring and Management of Servers and should have knowledge Microsoft server OS  
- Firmware upgrades as and when required including SAN  
- Creation/Deletion of virtual machine as per business requirement  
- Managing and troubleshooting VMware operation  
- Upgrading/ Patching/General Maintenance of Hypervisor & OS  
- Maintenance, Monitoring and Management of DR solution for PPC & other packages:-
i. Operation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of any hardware, OS and Virtual machine failure 
ii. Mange support calls/tickets against OEM subscription  
iii. Ensure regular follow-up until the reported incident is resolved and for any post resolution activities. 
iv. Mark all communication against the incidents/ tickets  
v. Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance of the entire setup  
vi. Submit technical documentation as and when required
  
- Backup and storage management  
- Restore backed up data as and when required  
- Co-ordinate with OEMs for the project  
- Shell scripting knowledge  
- Network management (public/private DNS, DHCP etc) of routers, switches, dynamic routing and other network related equipment and technologies  
- Resolution of audit observation as and when required.
