VMware Admin Lead Location: Hyderabad Experience: 5-8 years Only Immediate Joiners. Kindly share resume to nsenthil.kumar@genpact.com with Sub of "VMware" along with notice period. In this role, Individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service desk. Responsibilities Migrating VMs using VMotion, Performing Snapshots, Cloning, Cold Migrations and Hot Migrations. Managing VCenter Servers and ESXi hosts version 7.0 Creating Increase CPU, RAM and Disk for Virtual machines based on the Client request. Performance monitoring and tuning for ESX Servers, vCenter Servers and VMs. Export and Import of VM's from one VCenter to other. Creating & Managing Virtual Machines & Templates. Monitoring VMware Infrastructure - CPU, Memory, Disks and networks. Maintain, managing ESXI server via vSphere client and web-client. Patch management using VMware Life Cycle manager for Vcenter Servers,ESXI server, configured baseline, and critical, non- critical patches. Dell Hardware Firmware patching Dell Server IDRAC management Troubleshooting problems with the help of Event Logs. Manage Data Store Volumes and work with Storage team form new Storage Volumes configurations Qualifications we seek in you! Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Good Communication skills Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and ITIL practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.,
