Job Description: As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for manipulating and editing film pieces in a way that is seamless and imperceptible to the audience. Your role will involve understanding the production team's needs and specifications based on a given brief. Reviewing shooting scripts and raw materials to create a shot decision list that aligns with the scenes" value and continuity contribution will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. We are seeking a talented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a final project that reflects the director's vision and is broadcast-ready. Your primary task will be to merge sight and sound elements to narrate a coherent story effectively. Responsibilities: - Manipulate and edit film pieces with precision to maintain audience engagement - Interpret briefs to understand production requirements thoroughly - Review shooting scripts and raw footage to create a shot decision list considering scenes" significance and continuity - Trim footage segments and compile them in a logical sequence - Incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects into the film - Develop rough and final cuts to meet project objectives - Ensure the logical flow and smooth transitions within the film - Collaborate with stakeholders across the production and post-production phases - Stay updated with the latest editing technologies and industry best practices to enhance efficiency continuously This is a full-time, permanent job opportunity suitable for freshers.
