As a Video Editor at Cocoma Digital Pvt. Ltd., located in Mumbai, Andheri West, you will play a crucial role in editing high-performing and platform-optimized content for YouTube, OTT platforms, and short-form video formats. Cocoma Digital is a new-age creative and growth agency that specializes in helping entertainment brands, streaming platforms, and digital IPs grow on YouTube and social media through storytelling, performance marketing, and content innovation. Your responsibilities will include editing raw video footage to create engaging content, incorporating smooth transitions, sequence clips meaningfully, and maintaining narrative flow. You will be expected to apply visual effects, color grading, and audio enhancements to ensure a professional finish, as well as add text overlays, lower-thirds, intro/outro elements, and motion graphics as necessary. Collaboration with creative producers, content leads, and motion designers is essential to deliver impactful edits that resonate with the target audience. To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience as a video editor, preferably with international YouTube channels, OTT platforms, or entertainment agencies. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and a working knowledge of After Effects are required, along with a deep understanding of visual composition, editing pace, and retention tactics. Experience in editing for various platforms such as YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Snapchat is advantageous, as is familiarity with codecs, exporting, and optimizing for digital formats.
