You will be responsible for providing functional leadership for a small team of Model Validators working across different geographies and in a matrix structure. Your role will involve supporting the recruitment and retention of junior colleagues, as well as providing coaching and guidance to them. Additionally, you will lead model validation activities, including planning and stakeholder management. Your main focus will be on delivering high-quality and timely validation reports that contribute value to the business. To excel in this role, you should have comprehensive knowledge of statistical model and scorecard development techniques. You must also possess detailed knowledge of Risk models, performance metrics, risks, and associated issues. Familiarity with internal procedures and local regulations is essential for this position. A team-oriented mentality, along with the ability to complete tasks independently to a high-quality standard, will be key to your success in this role.,
