Job Description
Job Status: Freelancer
Job Duration: Intial 1 Month (Can be extended if required)
The VB.Net Developer would need to have at least 3-5 years of experience. For this role, you must be forward thinking, a team player with focus on continuous improvement to help troubleshoot, maintain, and modernize client business critical web applications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analysis, development, and troubleshooting of VB.NET applications and web services.
- Analysis, development, and troubleshooting of MS SQL Server SQL and Stored Procedures.
- Managing code via version control and release processes and procedures.
- Documenting and working issues, requests, enhancements, etc. via JIRA workflows.
- Actively listening and participating in IT meetings, taking notes, and offering insights/suggestions.
- Collaboratively working with the organization’s Web team members on projects and tasks.
- Self-driven learning of technologies being adopted by the organization’s Web team.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:
- Ability to work through issues and solve problems pragmatically
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues spanning several processes and technologies
- Adept in developing and debugging VB.NET (C#, Entity Framework, & MVC are a plus)
- Adept in writing and debugging SQL and Stored Procs
- Firm understanding of .NET frameworks and supporting technologies
