In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop underwriting strategies for merchant lending based on existing data within the organization's ecosystem and explore alternate data sources. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating functional expertise with hands-on experience in secured lending. - Assessing balance sheets and commercial underwriting. - Early assessment of segment-level loss rates and taking quick action. - Having a detailed understanding of in-house systems and being agile in changing legacy systems when necessary. - Collaborating with teams such as Data Science, Product, Business to establish and monitor underwriting strategies. - Taking portfolio actions based on offus behavior triggers from bureau or alternate data sources. - Monitoring implemented strategies to continuously assess business and risk impact. Your interaction will involve collaborating with teams such as Data Science, Product, Technology, and Business. You should have a hands-on approach to risk segmentation and proactively assess risks in the portfolio to make a positive impact. A curious mind and the ability to evaluate acquisition and portfolio level risks are essential. Some challenges and decisions you will face include constant identification of changes that need to be initiated and assessing their impact on business and risk. Qualifications and Experience: - 4+ years of Risk Analytics or Portfolio Management experience in Financial Services/Secured lending. Skills required for this role include hands-on experience in defining risk strategies, managing portfolios, building risk models and policies, as well as problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.,
