Job Description

• The Level II Technician will be performing calibrations, Non-destructive Tests and evaluation for acceptance or rejection of job
• He is responsible to perform tests according to written instructions and should be able to record results accurately
• Level II Technicians are qualified to set-up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results by applying particular codes, standards, and specifications
• The Technicians should thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the NDT methods being performed

Roles/Experience: For Technicians for thickness measurement

a) Valid ASNT Level-II Certificate

b) Knowledge of material velocity

c) Can properly perform thickness measurement with set up of equipment with specific calibration

d) Can able to generate report with drawing of job attended

For Technicians for Weld examination

a) Valid ASNT Level-II Certificate

b) Can properly perform weld testing of different thicknesses with set up of equipment with specific calibration by drawing DAC as per applicable Codes, Standards & Specifications

c) Knowledge of interpretation & evaluation of result

d) Thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of Ultrasonic Testing method

e) To generate report in proper manner

f) May be assigned responsibility for on job training & guidance of trainees to Level-I personnel

• Educational- 12th Maths/ DME/ BSc/ BE/ MTech
• Technical- ASNT Level-II
