As a UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in leading and enhancing our design initiatives. You should possess strategic thinking abilities coupled with a meticulous eye for detail, a strong design sense, and the capability to oversee projects from inception to completion. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver top-notch creative solutions that resonate with our brand identity and business objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Guiding the design process throughout digital and print media, from conceptualization to final delivery. - Establishing and upholding brand guidelines to ensure uniformity across all channels. - Collaborating closely with marketing, product, and development teams to craft compelling visuals. - Mentoring and offering constructive feedback to junior designers to support their professional development. - Keeping abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to enhance innovation and productivity. - Presenting design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and clients. - Handling multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines, and upholding quality standards. Additionally, you will be expected to demonstrate expertise in the following areas: - Exercising sound judgment as a Design master, adept mediator, and skilled multitasker. - Working in tandem with business and LOS Leader to grasp client requirements. - Serving as an inspirational role model for the Design team members. - Collaborating effectively with Art Directors, Marketing LOS Leader, board members, and other stakeholders. To qualify for this role, you should ideally possess: - Over 5 years of professional design experience, preferably in an agency or corporate setting. - A Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools. - A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality design work across diverse platforms. - The ability to translate business objectives into compelling design solutions. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills for seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. - A keen eye for typography, color, layout, and brand coherence. - Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects efficiently. Desirable qualifications include experience in UI/UX design, familiarity with design systems, knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, or 3D design tools, and a basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS) to collaborate with developers.
