As a skilled C++ Developer with expertise in Unreal Engine, you will collaborate closely with the design team to implement UI for mobile and desktop applications. You will be responsible for developing performant and modular C++ systems and tools for Unreal Engine, optimizing existing systems for maximum performance, and integrating third-party SDKs and addons. Your role will involve working closely with designers and engineers to implement new features and systems, as well as identifying and resolving bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues. Additionally, you will adhere to and improve upon existing architecture and code quality standards, with experience in Blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine 4/5. To excel in this role, you should have at least 8 years of professional C++ experience, with a strong track record in Unreal Engine development. Experience in shipping and maintaining C++ projects on desktop platforms is essential, along with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. You should demonstrate the ability to self-manage and work both independently and collaboratively as required. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of other game engines and development tools, familiarity with shader programming and visual effects, as well as an understanding of industry-standard software development practices and methodologies.
