Software Engineer III

Job Description: We are looking for a talented and experienced React.js developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development and a proven track record of designing and implementing user interfaces. As an UI Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and optimize application performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js and Next.js.
• Utilize extensive hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to enhance front-end development.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or Flux).
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6+).
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and ability to create intuitive user interfaces.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, and platform teams.
