Job Description
As a Travel Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to handle and convert inbound queries into sales. This will involve researching destinations, travel prices, customs, weather conditions, and reviews to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients. You will be expected to plan and organize travel itineraries, with a focus on selling international flights and promoting various services. To excel in this role, you must stay informed about the latest industry trends and continuously expand your knowledge of tourism offerings. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is essential, along with providing them with useful travel materials such as guides, maps, and event programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for collecting deposits and balances from customers. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 1 year of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role. A passion for travel and tourism, combined with excellent knowledge of the latest tourism trends, is highly desirable. Proficiency in Amadeus & Sabre software, as well as a strong command of English, is essential. Good sales and presentation skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to think critically and solve problems are also key attributes we are looking for.
