Job role: Ancillary operation manager (Concierge, events, ancillary, partnerships & alliances) Duration: Full time Location: Mumbai Job experience: Min. 5 years Job brief We, at The Hosteller are seeking an experienced Ancillary operations manager (travel desk/experiences/events/concierge/etc.). The candidate would be directly responsible for identifying, on boarding and seamlessly executing company's ancillary products, via the help of 3rd party vendors, for its ever-growing community of local and global travelers. He/she will have to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence. Job responsibilities Understanding the company's vision, various product lines, growth trajectory, user demographics, GTM strategy, etc Understanding travel/hospitality/tourism sectors, various geographies, and ancillary product lines, including events, travel desk, trips/treks/adventure activities, merchandise, etc Building an operational framework for various ancillary/concierge vendors by onboarding multiple vendors as per various logistical requirements Developing and implement policies and procedures pertaining to operational aspects Setting up operational terms & conditions, delivery terms, quality assurance KPIs, product inclusions/exclusions, etc. for all ancillary products with 3rd party vendors Ensuring smooth day-to-day execution of the ancillary product sales as per company-prescribed standards and procedures Identifying new vendors continually across geographies to further optimize operating standards, pricing, service contracts, deals, etc Coordinating with other teams in the company for cross-functional requirements Conducting regular assessments and evaluations based on customer feedback & reviews Maintaining relationships with and liaison with the selected vendors & service providers Working closely with their regional teams to fetch high-quality work Qualifications Experienced professional in travel/tourism/aviation/hospitality sector with vast geographical knowledge (India and International) (min. experience - 5 years) Experience with adventure products, community-driven activities, travel desk, etc Masters or bachelor's degree in event management/hospitality/operations Strong organisational, sales, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Well spoken, friendly and a great negotiator,
