Role Summary: Were seeking a dynamic and driven Placement Officer to connect our students with the right career opportunities. Youll play a pivotal role in building employer relationships, preparing students for the job market, and ensuring successful placements. Key Responsibilities: Build Employer Partnerships: Identify and engage with potential employers to create job and internship opportunities. Understand Hiring Needs: Collaborate with industry partners to align placement efforts with their recruitment requirements. Organize Career Events: Plan and execute job fairs, networking sessions, and employer presentations for student-employer engagement. Career Guidance: Provide one-on-one career counselling, resume support, and interview preparation for students. Conduct Workshops: Lead sessions on job search strategies, soft skills, and professional development. Placement Coordination: Match students with relevant job openings and manage end-to-end placement logistics. Track Placement Data: Maintain accurate records of placement outcomes and generate periodic reports for analysis. Outreach & Collaboration: Work closely with faculty, alumni, and industry bodies to expand placement opportunities and stay updated on job market trends. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Counselling, Business Administration). Previous experience corporate connection & Placement activity in IT field (DA & DS). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities. Familiarity with job search platforms, recruitment tools, and industry trends. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management software.,
