Job Description
The Trade Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing specific trade packages (e.g., electrical, HVAC, civil) within a data center project. This role ensures that assigned trades are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Planning & Pre-Construction: Define scope and assist in contractor selection. Support budget, schedule, and risk planning. Ensure compliance with codes and permitting requirements. Execution & Oversight: Supervise on-site trade activities and safety compliance. Monitor progress, control costs, and manage change orders. Coordinate with other trades to resolve conflicts. Maintain documentation (logs, RFIs, submittals, reports). Commissioning & Closeout: Support testing, commissioning, and punch list closure. Ensure delivery of as-built drawings, warranties, and manuals. Key Objectives: Timely and quality delivery of trade packages Budget and cost control Risk and change management Stakeholder coordination Safety compliance KPIs: Schedule and budget adherence Rework/deficiency rate Safety performance RFI/change order efficiency Stakeholder satisfaction Candidate Profile: Bachelor//"s in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) or Construction Management 15+ years of experience in construction project management (preferably data centers) Strong understanding of data center systems and interdependencies Skilled in Primavera/MS Project, Procore/Aconex, MS Office Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Strong commitment to site safety and quality assurance,
