Job Description
You are a Test Specialist with 5-7 years of total Quality Engineering experience, specializing in Web application automation testing using TOSCA. Your expertise in the TOSCA automation tool is essential for this role. You must have experience working in an Agile environment and possess strong reasoning and analytical skills. In this role, you will need to have a working knowledge of Test Case and Defect Management Tools such as JIRA, Quality Center, or equivalent. Good communication skills are crucial as you will be collaborating with team members and stakeholders. You should be open to working in shifts from 12 PM to 8:30 PM and be a team player. As a Test Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, supporting, deploying, and testing basic technology solutions of limited scale. You will work under supervision and guidance, applying basic engineering skills, tools, practices, and techniques to all deliverables. It is important to understand software requirements and ensure they are translated into high-quality production-ready code based on provided design and instructions. You should have a clear understanding of project scope and timelines, delivering quality work within estimated timeframes. Active participation in team ceremonies is expected from you. Your technical skills should include basic engineering, system administration/provisioning, quality engineering, and support. You should be able to design low complexity automation scripts with zero errors, utilizing existing automation tools and frameworks. Familiarity with at least one Sunlife approved automation tool like TOSCA is required. Additionally, you should have a basic understanding of and the ability to utilize multiple software development methodologies such as AWS cloud testing.,
