Job Title: Tool Room Operator GDC Die Casting (Aluminum) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Tool Room Operator with a strong background in GDC (Gravity Die Casting) for Aluminium. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in die repair and manufacturing, as well as operating EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine) equipment. The role demands precision, technical skill, and a deep understanding of die maintenance practices. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain tool room equipment, especially for GDC Aluminum die casting. Carry out die repair and manufacturing activities as per design specifications. Operate EDM machines for precision machining and finishing of die components. Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of dies and tools. Ensure accuracy and quality in machining operations. Maintain records of tool usage, repairs, and modifications. Collaborate with design and production teams to troubleshoot and optimize die performance. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Required Skills and Qualifications: ITI/Diploma in Tool & Die Making or equivalent trade. 78 years of hands-on experience in Tool Room operations, especially in GDC Aluminum die casting. Proficient in die manufacturing and repair techniques. Skilled in EDM operation (Wire Cut/Sinker). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and precision.
