Job Description

The Senior Engineer for Solar and Renewable Energy is a leadership position within our organization, responsible for overseeing and directing all technical aspects related to solar and renewable energy projects. You will be expected to possess a deep understanding of solar and renewable energy technologies, along with strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead technical teams and drive project success. Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: - Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for the design, development, and implementation of solar and renewable energy projects. - Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement in project execution. Project Management: - Oversee the technical aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and construction to drive project success. Team Management: - Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing team culture. - Delegate tasks effectively, manage workload distribution, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Technical Expertise: - Serve as the subject matter expert on solar and renewable energy technologies, providing guidance and technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders. - Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses to inform decision-making and mitigate project risks. Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing solar and renewable energy projects, including environmental, health, and safety requirements. - Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals for project development and operation. Client Engagement: - Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements, provide expert advice, and build strong relationships to support business development efforts. - Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for new projects and expansion of services. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, and paid time off. The work schedule is during the day shift or morning shift with a shift allowance. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant work experience. The work location is in person.,
