As a Software Engineer 2 at Dell Technologies, you will be part of the Software Engineering team that is dedicated to delivering next-generation application enhancements and new products to adapt to the evolving world. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, designing and developing software for various platforms, peripherals, applications, and diagnostics. Collaboration with both internal and external partners will be a key part of your role, ensuring that you are utilizing the most advanced technologies and software engineering methodologies. Your main responsibility will be to develop sophisticated systems and software solutions that align with the customers" business goals and requirements. This includes participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from research and new development to maintenance and re-engineering of software products. You will also be tasked with testing and automating Dell Core BIOS Features, ensuring the delivery of products within the specified budget, schedule, and quality guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Develop software solutions based on customer requirements and business environment - Test and automate Dell Core BIOS Features - Participate in the software development lifecycle, including research, development, modification, security, error correction, and maintenance - Collaborate with the team to manage validation schedules, timelines, and development status - Utilize best-in-class development processes/lifecycle management such as Agile methodology Requirements: - 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in software engineering - Proficiency in Automation languages like Python, Micro Python, and Perl - Knowledge of X86/X64 Architecture and Instruction set - Experience in programming languages such as C, Embedded Programming in C and C++ - Familiarity with Test Driven Development and Unit Test environments for C Join Dell Technologies and be a part of a team that values individual contributions and believes in the power of making an impact.
