The role of a highly skilled and experienced mid-level/Sr. software developer specializing in developing InDesign applications using C++ requires strong problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring and guiding team members. As a crucial team member, you will participate in the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), develop high-quality software solutions, perform code reviews, and ensure project success. Your key responsibilities will include: - Participating in SDLC and implementing software applications following coding standards and best practices, specifically developing plugins for Adobe InDesign for Windows & MacOS-X. - Conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to standards, providing feedback and guidance to team members, and collaborating to identify and resolve code issues and bugs. - Mentoring and coaching junior developers, sharing knowledge on InDesign development practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team. - Analyzing and solving complex technical problems related to InDesign development, optimizing application performance and user experience. - Providing regular progress updates, assisting in project planning, estimation, and tracking, and contributing to technical documentation and reports. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and code reviews to maintain a positive and productive team environment. Desired skills and experience: - Proven working experience of 3+ years in C++ technology, specifically on C++/VC++/MFC/STL, COM, Design Patterns, and Adobe InDesign SDK development. - Knowledge of XML, Xpath, XSD, XSLT, JavaScript/Applescript, AGILE environment, and project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Bamboo. - Experience in multithreading, SQL, relational databases, and basic understanding of web development concepts. - Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, effective communication, team collaboration, team management, and continuous learning skills.
