Job Description
As a Sr. Associate Audit Director, you will be responsible for handling audit engagements from pre-audit scoping and preparation to identifying audit risks, evaluating clients" internal control structure, executing audits, and delivering conclusions with direct reporting to the partner. Your role will involve planning and administering audit assignments to ensure high-quality completion within agreed timelines, maintaining proper audit documentation, and managing a team. Motivation, a commitment to effective client service, and adherence to professional standards are key attributes for success in this role. Additionally, you will be expected to independently handle and manage clients within the assurance division under the direct supervision of the partner. Openness to travel is a requirement for this position, along with a focus on Business Development. To excel in this role, you should possess expert knowledge of business processes, accounting, reporting, and audit methodology. Your familiarity with accounting standards, particularly Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) and SAs under Indian GAAP, will be crucial. Awareness of reporting under IFRS and other GAAPs, direct and indirect taxes, corporate laws, and experience in team management and client handling are essential. Exposure to ERP environments such as Tally and SAP, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in English, are also important qualifications for this role.
