The Senior Counselor position at GVOC ISM EduTech in Gurugram is a full-time on-site role where you will be responsible for guiding students in selecting suitable programs and universities for their study abroad journey. Your role will involve preparing students for their international education experience and ensuring their success in the new academic environment. Daily tasks will include advising students on academic programs, assisting with application processes, and providing ongoing support throughout their educational pursuits. To excel in this role, you should possess strong Study Abroad counseling and interpersonal skills, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Study Abroad Counselling. Knowledge of multiple countries is preferred, along with experience in academic advising and study abroad guidance. An understanding of international education systems and programs is essential. Excellent communication and presentation abilities are required, along with the capacity to work effectively both in a team and independently. Proficiency in relevant software and tools is expected, and a Master's degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field is necessary. Certifications in counseling or education counseling would be advantageous.
