Job Description
As a Phlebotomist, your primary responsibility will be to draw patient blood samples both within the sample collection area and outside. You will be required to match patient receipts with the prescription before collecting samples to ensure accuracy. Additionally, noting down the diagnosis and relevant history of patients where necessary will be part of your duties. You will also be responsible for the transportation and segregation of samples based on tests, investigations, and designated areas. Ensuring the overall cleanliness and housekeeping of the sample collection area will be essential to maintain a hygienic and organized workspace. Furthermore, it will be crucial for you to promptly report customer feedback and complaints to the director.
