Job Summary: - A Bachelors/Masters/PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related discipline - Experience in developing geometric/mesh generation/mesh manipulation algorithms and related data structures - Proficiency in mathematics, discrete geometry, and numerical techniques - Strong skills in C++ programming and object-oriented design - Knowledge of parallel programming and CAD/CAE element software is a plus - Familiarity with Agile and lean software development processes is advantageous - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities What You Will Do: - Develop meshing/geometry tools for HyperMesh - Enhance and maintain in-house mesh kernel, including mesh generation and editing operators What You Will Need: Basics: - Proficiency in Data structures and Algorithms - Strong Object-Oriented Design Skills & experience with UML Diagrams - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Leadership and Team Management abilities - Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with diverse technologies - Ability to deliver high-quality work within project timelines How You Will Be Successful: - Envision the Future - Communicate Honestly and Broadly - Prioritize Technology and Business Advancements - Embrace Diversity and Take Calculated Risks Why Work With Us: Altair is a global technology company that offers software and cloud solutions for product development, high-performance computing (HPC), and data analytics.
