Job Description

The role of IPC Author requires 3 to 6 years of experience and is based in Bangalore with a notice period of 30 days. As an IPC Author, your primary responsibility will be the creation, modification, and revision of Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC) for Airbus SA, LR, MB, and XWB aircraft models including A319, A320, A321, A330, A340, A350, and A380. It is essential to be well-versed in Airbus standards, tools, and processes to ensure compliance. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of impact analysis to develop content that aligns with change requests. Proficiency in ATA Knowledge areas such as 11, 25, 27, 29, 31, and 5x is crucial for this role. Experience in using SAP PCS for IPC authoring, configuration management, and criteria analysis is preferred. As an IPC Author, you should be capable of working independently on project details, supplier drawings, and technical specifications to meet customer requirements. Technical analysis of modifications and configuration management will be part of your responsibilities. Efficiently structuring information and interpreting engineering drawings are key aspects of this role. You will be required to create and revise Illustrated Parts Catalogues following Ispec2200 standards and prepare mockups for Illustrators. Adherence to quality procedures outlined in the quality system is essential. Regular reporting to the Project Leader to address project deviations, monitor progress, and resolve internal or external issues is expected. Proactive coordination with customers is also necessary to ensure project success.,
