Implementing study-specific procedures to guarantee compliance with regulations will also be part of your role. You will play a key role in training staff on how to use data systems and software programs, as well as providing technical training to data technicians. As a clinical analyst, you will be involved in analyzing data trends, interpreting data sets to improve workflow efficiency, and validating results and conclusions from experiments and research data. Regular maintenance of systems, databases, and networks, including performing upgrades and quality checks, will be essential to ensure smooth operations. Moreover, clinical analysts may offer guidance to pharmaceutical sponsors and investigators. A bachelor's degree in computer science, life science, or related fields is typically required for this position.
