Job Description
The Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) professional plays a crucial role in managing and delivering engaging digital experiences. Your primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining AEM components and templates, customizing and integrating AEM with other applications, and ensuring high performance and availability of AEM-based applications and workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, optimize AEM applications for speed and scalability, and implement security measures to protect data. In addition, you will participate in design and code reviews, provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, troubleshoot and debug AEM applications, and stay updated with AEM and related technologies. Your role also involves contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices, creating technical documentation for AEM solutions, managing AEM users, groups, and permissions, and supporting AEM deployments and maintenance. You will work closely with UX and design teams to ensure the seamless integration of front-end code. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have proven experience in AEM development and customization. Proficiency in Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential, along with experience in Agile development methodologies and knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, web content management systems, and digital marketing concepts is required. You should have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Certification in Adobe Experience Manager would be an advantage, and experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target is desirable. Knowledge of SEO best practices, web performance optimization, RESTful web services, API integrations, and cloud hosting and deployment platforms is also beneficial.
