Job Description
You will be working as a Testing Engineer in Surat, Gujarat. As a qualified candidate, you are required to have a Diploma/BE in Electric Engineering with a minimum of 3-7 years of relevant experience in testing switchgear and control panels or similar equipment. Your responsibilities will include understanding basic HV, MV, and/or LV single line, schematic, and logic diagrams, as well as having familiarity with basic electrical studies and calculations related to power systems such as rating, fault, and load. Additionally, you should be well-versed in basic protection and measurement concepts and principles. It is essential that you have experience with testing tools like relay testers, measurement tools, and dielectrics. Proficiency in using Microsoft software applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is also required. You will be expected to demonstrate extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures, as well as possess excellent problem-solving skills. Moreover, you should have a proven track record of over 3 years in testing switchgears and/or control panels. Strong communication skills are crucial as you will need to effectively interact with Japanese engineers in English and customers in India in their native language.
