Job Description

As a Software Tester with 12 years of experience in manual or automation testing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software products in the IT / Software Development industry. Your responsibilities will include executing test cases, analyzing results, identifying and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in requirement analysis, and maintaining test documentation. You will be expected to communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders, reporting bugs clearly and following through on resolutions. Key Responsibilities: - Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results - Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development cycle - Participate in requirement analysis and review - Maintain test coverage and documentation - Report bugs clearly and ensure resolution follow-through - Communicate effectively within the team and with external stakeholders Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - 12 years of experience in software testing - Proficiency in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis) - Good understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment Preferred Skills: - Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium) - Basic understanding of SQL and API testing This is a Full-Time position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with morning shifts and weekend availability required. The work location is in person.
