The Senior Automation Tester is responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts using agile methodology and Selenium. This role will involve ensuring the quality of software applications by implementing automation testing strategies. (1.) Key Responsibilities 1. Collaborate within team to understand project requirements and develop automation test cases. 2. Develop, and execute automated tests using selenium to ensure the quality of web applications. 3. Implement automation frameworks and maintain test scripts for continuous integration and deployment pipelines. 4. Identify, report, and troubleshoot software defects to ensure optimal performance. 5. Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. 6. Work closely with developers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products. 7. Contribute to the improvement of test processes and procedures within the organization. Skill Requirements 1. Proficiency in agile methodology and experience working in agile environments. 2. Strong knowledge of selenium for automated testing of web applications. 3. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders. 5. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (sdlc) and software testing principles. 6. Experience with test management tools and version control systems. 7. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (ci/cd) practices. 8. Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
