As a Test Manager at Intellect Design Arena Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software throughout its development life cycle. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding design and product architecture, executing test cases as per defined plans, and working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate program results. You will be responsible for creating test logs, documenting testing phases and defects, preparing test packs for automated and regression testing, and striving for zero defects in releases. Your role will also involve promptly responding to bug reports, troubleshooting issues, and providing valuable feedback on performance and usability aspects related to software specifications and implementation. To excel in this role, you are required to have a minimum of 13 years of experience working in a Software Testing capacity within an established IT organization. You should possess a strong understanding of the domain or project you have been involved in and demonstrate a willingness to learn about the banking domain. Proficiency in the various phases and intricacies of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), adherence to quality processes, and experience in both waterfall and Agile methodologies (with a preference for Agile, specifically Scrum) are essential. Additionally, your ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and your familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber will be advantageous in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.
