As a Senior Test Engineer, you play a crucial role in ensuring software quality through the design and execution of test plans, development of automation frameworks, and seamless integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines. Your collaborative efforts with teams, defect resolution skills, mentorship for juniors, and process optimization strategies are instrumental in efficiently delivering high-quality software. With 4-7 years of experience, you will be based in Bangalore and be responsible for various key tasks: Manual Testing: - Thoroughly analyze requirements to create detailed test plans and test cases. - Conduct functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests. - Utilize tools like Azure and Jira to identify, document, and track defects. - Ensure comprehensive test coverage across user interfaces, APIs, and databases. - Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and expectations. Automation Testing: - Develop scalable automation frameworks and maintain them effectively. - Write and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium. - Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. - Optimize automation scripts for performance and reliability. - Perform API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. General Responsibilities: - Analyze test results and conduct root cause analysis for defects. - Uphold testing standards and best practices. - Communicate test progress, risks, and results to stakeholders. - Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and techniques. Key Requirements: - Proficiency in Web and Mobile automation, particularly adept in Mobile automation using Appium. - Strong skills in creating efficient locators for Web and Native automation. - Experience in API testing and automation. - Proficiency in Java or Python with a knack for solving problems involving data structures and algorithms. - Sound knowledge in Manual testing ranging from intermediate to expert level. - Self-starter with the ability to handle tasks independently. - Proactive team player capable of driving team objectives and effectively communicating with stakeholders. - Expertise in Framework design and implementation is desirable. - Familiarity with Test management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure pipelines. - Knowledge of working with databases (SQL or No-SQL). - Proficient in agile-driven projects, capable of providing accurate estimates for individual and team tasks. - Understanding of SDLC and STLC. - Exposure to Performance testing. - Knowledge of BrowserStack is advantageous. - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with a global team. - Ability to work in an international team across different time zones.,
