Job Description

As a Test Engineer at Lytx, you will collaborate with offshore teams to define, test, and productize innovative solutions. Working closely with QA engineering, you will create and review test plans and cases for software applications. Your role will involve executing test cases, recording and analyzing results, as well as reporting defects or issues using bug tracking tools. Manual testing will be conducted by you to ensure that software meets quality standards. Documenting test cases, test scenarios, and test results will be a key aspect of your responsibilities to provide a clear and comprehensive overview of testing activities. It is essential to maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation. You will also need to identify, track, and manage defects found during testing, collaborating with QA engineering and development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Retesting fixed defects will be necessary to ensure successful resolution. Your role will require the ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience. You will be expected to analyze and address complex technical challenges and issues that arise during the software testing lifecycle. Efficiently debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems will be part of your daily tasks. Sharing your expertise and mentoring test engineers to help them grow and develop their skills will be vital. This will enable them to rapidly deliver and learn, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. Passion for learning and helping others is a key trait that we value.
