The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role at Visa is crucial in ensuring quality and efficiency within our Agile Product squads. As an SDET, you will collaborate with a team of Software Engineering Managers, Software Engineers, and fellow SDETs under the guidance of the QA lead. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development of scalable solutions for various challenges. You will be involved in designing, developing, building, and maintaining QA processes to support the team in delivering high-quality solutions. To excel in this role, you should have experience in API testing and a solid understanding of testing at different levels within CI/CD pipelines. Previous exposure to delivering solutions in a microservices environment and familiarity with Cloud-Native architectures and practices will be advantageous. This is a hybrid position, and the specific in-office requirements will be communicated by your hiring manager.
