Job Description

Role :- Test Engineer
Experience :- 4+ Years 
NOtice Period :- 30 Days
Location :- Mumbai goregaon
Education :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Salary :- 5-8 LPA

- Collaborate with the QA engineering to create and review test plans and test cases for software applications or systems.
- Execute test cases, record, and analyze results, and report defects or issues using bug tracking tools. Conduct manual testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Document test cases, test scenarios, and test results to provide a clear and comprehensive overview of testing activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation.
- Identify, track, and manage defects found during testing. Collaborate with the QA engineering and development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and retest fixed defects to ensure successful resolution.
- Perform regression testing to verify that software changes and updates have not introduced new defects or impacted existing functionality.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools to improve overall testing efficiency and effectiveness. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
- Perform exploratory testing, system level end to end testing.
- Ensure adequate test coverage for every release based on test strategy.
- Contribute to the manual and automated testing suite to ensure future software stability.
- Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Requires 4+ years of experience in software testing.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools like Jira.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with collation between onshore and offshore.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- ISTQB certification or any other relevant software testing certification is a plus.
- Scripting and SQL/Databases (must have ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data) will be a plus.
- Candidates having practical knowledge of source code management products (version control repository) such as GitHub, TFS etc., CI/CD tools such as Jenkins etc. will be a plus.
