Job Description
Telematics Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design and integrate telematics systems including GPS, vehicle tracking, infotainment, and remote diagnostics into automotive platforms.
Develop and test embedded software and hardware interfaces for vehicle communication systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to connectivity, data transmission, and system integration.
Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, and OEMs to ensure system compatibility and performance.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and cybersecurity protocols for connected vehicles.
Support OTA (Over-the-Air) updates, diagnostics, and data analytics for vehicle health monitoring.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of embedded systems, IoT architecture, and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Programming skills in/C++, Python, and experience with RTOS or Linux-based systems.
Familiarity with GPS, GSM, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi modules.
Experience in vehicle diagnostics, testing tools, and telematics platforms.
Ability to work in agile environments and collaborate across hardware-software teams.
