he IET office started operations in India in 2006, in Bangalore. Today, we have over 13,000 members and have the largest membership base for the IET outside of the UK. Job Description

Job Summary
To manage member retention with a focus on good customer service and reminding about the membership
renewal due on time and follow up.
Main Duties and Responsibilities (Not necessarily in priority order)
Member Retention:

• Renewal calls for the IET membership.
•  Lapsers Campaign calls
•  Member profiling through tailormade tele calling campaigns.
• Member onboarding calls
• Any tele calling campaign designed from time-to-time for customer engagement.

Person Specification Essential:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
•  Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and customer service skills, with the ability to deal with people at all levels and who can communicate effectively in English (verbally and written business English)
•  Pro-active and persistent in initiating and maintaining contact with members.
•  A positive team member with a good attitude who can communicate and work effectively with colleagues based in remote locations, as well as in the same office.
• Good level of IT literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office

Desirable:

•  Experience of working with volunteers in a membership-based organisation
•  Experience of working for an international organisation
•  An interest or involvement in the Science, Engineering and Technology sector
